David Beckham wants to send sons to boarding school

David and Victoria Beckham are planning on sending their three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, to expensive boarding school Eton College when they move back to England.
David Beckham wants to send his sons to expensive boarding school Eton College.
The 37-year-old soccer star and his wife Victoria could be set to move back to his native England after announcing he is to leave his club Los Angeles Galaxy and he has been looking at enrolling his three boys, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, and Cruz, seven, at the expensive public school which was attended by British Prime Minister David Cameron and Prince William.
A source told the Fastmazaa : ''For the Beckhams, Eton would be the ultimate arrival. Beckham is talking to clubs and the natural home for him would be Tottenham, the club supported by his late grandfather Joe.''
David has reportedly become homesick for the UK after spending a lot of time in his hometown of London during the summer for the Olympics.
As well as opening talks with several English clubs, allegedly including Tottenham Hotspur and QPR, Victoria was spotted house-hunting in south west London last week, and visited an £18 million mansion in Richmond which boasts seven bedrooms, a wine cellar and a gym.
The source added: ''David has been really missing London and the UK recently. The royal wedding, the Olympics and now Christmas coming up have all made him long for the UK.
''He talks about being in London a lot and he misses his family, so it would make perfect sense for the family to all move back to Britain.''
David - who also has a 16-month-old daughter Harper with his ex-Spice Girl wife - will finish his career LA Galaxy following the Major League Soccer cup final match between his team and the Houston Dynamo on Saturday (01.12.12).

Breaking News No celebrations for Bappi Lahiri's 60th birthday

The veteran musician turns 60 tomorrow but won't have a bash in respect of the late Bal Thackeray

It’s celebration time for Bappi Lahiri. The composer turns 60 on November 27 as well as completes 40 years in the film industry shortly. However, Bappida is not throwing a birthday party — like he does every year — to celebrate his landmark year.
The veteran musician says, “As a mark of respect to the late Bal Thackeray, I am not having any bash. The Sena supremo had attended my birthday celebrations in 1992.”

He is also being awarded the Legend Award at the annual Big Apple Music Awards being held at the Millennium Theatre in New York on December 2. The composer will be leaving for the US to receive the honour that recognises excellence of Central Asian, Caucasian and Middle Eastern musicians.

Bappida adds, “After I am back from the US, I will decide to have a celebration, may be sometime in January, to celebrate my four decades in the
industry.”  The composer’s first Hindi film outing was for Shomu Mukherjee’s Nanha Shikari starring Tanuja and Deb Mukherjee which released on January 1, 1973.

Getting nostalgic, the composer says, “It has been an eventful ride from my Disco Dancer days to going Ooh La La. I recently recorded an item song for Sajid Khan’s remake of Himmatwala as well for Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid Wajid.”

The last year has been hectic for Bappida because of his song Ooh La La. “I have been travelling for my shows from the US to New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand.”  His birthday wish is to make more and more music that will make everyone play on loop or get up and shake a leg.

Kareena Kapoor Says I'm very proud to be a married actress

Kareena Kapoor believes there's nothing wrong with being ambitious about both professional as well as her personal life

She has no makeup on and confesses to sleeping for barely four hours. The fatigue is evident but Kareena Kapoor somehow manages to look stunning. Excited about her first release after marriage to Saif Ali Khan, the green-eyed actress describes her Bollywood journey so far as full of risks. During a candid chat, Kareena expresses her thoughts on love, her equation with co-star Rani Mukerji and a lot more…
Has life changed post marriage?
Only the questions have changed! Earlier it was ‘when are you getting married?’ and now it’s this. I don’t know why it should be any different for me. I’m very proud to be a married actress.
What are your thoughts on marriage?
I can only speak for myself and I did it because I’m in love and I wanted to cement my relationship with Saif. I’m glad that our wedding was an intimate ceremony constituting of few people who truly mattered. To me, marriage is a respected institution as well as a celebration of love. I don’t see any reason why people should be so cynical about it.
Will your wedding affect your career?
I’ll continue to do the films I want to and I’ll reject the films I don’t want to — like I always did! My ultimate aim is to be part of good movies. I don’t think my being married is going to change anything on my career front. My profession is not going to get overwhelmed by my personal life.

How do you balance professional and private success?
We actors are very greedy people. We want success, good roles and a good love life as well. I’m really thankful to have it all. And there’s nothing wrong in being ambitious.
Is it a conscious decision to opt for heroine-oriented films of late?
(Pauses) I’ll do heroine-oriented roles but I’ll also work in films like Bodyguard or Ra.One where I’m there just to look pretty! Acting is my passion. I have to act but I can’t just do bland characters under the pretence of performance-oriented roles.
On a scale of one to 10, how do you rate yourself as an actress?
Seven.
What difference do you see between the streetwalker you played in Chameli and the one you’re playing in your next?
They’re completely different. Chameli was a desi kind of streetwalker, more like a good-hearted sex worker. Rosie is someone with several shades of personality. Even though in my new film, the plot doesn’t microscope on the prostitute I’m playing, my character has a pivotal role.
How was it to work with Rani again?
It was disappointing to know that we won’t be sharing a single scene in the film. I love her and respect her as an actress. Whenever Rani and I meet — be it at a party or a studio — ek cup chai toh honi hai. We always end up having long chats. Our equation hasn’t changed a bit since we did Mujhse Dosti Karoge! 10 years ago.

Shahrukh Khan Says I love people associated with a film

SRK claims he shall continue to do films he believes in, regardless of what others have to say about them

Although his last offering successfully rode on the Diwaliwave, it got mixed critical reviews. But Shah Rukh Khan says he chooses films not just for the sake of prosperity and posterity. King Khan needs something more — belief in the director and the crew involved in a project.
Over the past few years, after doing films such as My Name is Khan, Don and Ra.One, King Khan is back to his favourite genre — romance — with Jab Tak Hai Jaan. However, the actor maintains that he usually chooses his movies on impulse but doesn’t take his job or stardom for granted.
“I totally love the people associated with a film. I remember when Ashutosh (Gowariker) came to me with Swades, I was keener on doing Jodhaa Akbar but he asked me to be part of this film as he wanted to dedicate it to his father. I instantly agreed. After all, he’s one of my earliest friends from the industry and I believed in his vision for Mohan Bharghav,” he reminisces.
A similar backdrop resonated with his decision to make Chak De! “My dad loved hockey and I played the sport very well too. So, although I had to sport a beard, with a dozen unknown girls and no songs to lip-sync, I agreed to the idea. It turned out to be wonderful.”
When asked whether there will be a sequel to his first big screen superhero venture — which was a commercial setback for him — SRK sounds rather optimistic. “I won’t rule out the possibility because Ra.One could become a franchise in the long run. We might call the second film Ra.Two or something but we don’t have a script yet so we’ll have to hold on to our thoughts here,” sums up the actor-producer.

Latest News Qasab’s death lends happy ending to RGV’s film

Qasab’s death lends happy ending to RGV’s film

Ram Gopal Varma, who is making a film on the 26/11 attacks, has decided to end his film with Qasab’s execution

When Ram Gopal Varma heard of Qasab’s hanging on Monday morning, he knew he had found a happy ending for his film, The Attacks of 26/11.
“Varma had planned to end the film with Qasab in jail, serving his death sentence. But now the film ends with a truly happy ending — something Bollywood audiences love — that of the hanging of Qasab,” a source close to the director revealed.
“It is hard for films made on real-life incidents to have a final closure. It is usually an ongoing process. Qasab was the most identifiable person in the attack and his hanging has definitely given the story proper closure,” Varma said, on being asked about the changes to the film.
“The story is about the night of 26/11 and its investigation. Over the past year, there was no progress so I would have shown him in jail. Now I will definitely add his execution part and that is how the film will end. It will be add to the cost, of course,” he added.
Apparently, Varma called the film’s producer Parag Sanghvi as soon as he found out about Qasab’s execution. While the good news was that he had found a happy ending for their film, the bad news was that the cost of the film would escalate. The film is going to be an expensive one in any case. The crew has been denied permissions to shoot at most locations, which will have to be recreated on set.
The film will be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu at a budget exceeding $5 million.
