Robbie Coltrane Losing Weight For Knee Surgery

Robbie Coltrane Losing Weight For Knee Surgery

Harry Potter heavy weight Robbie Coltrane has embarked on a diet to lose more than 100 pounds (45 kilograms) so he can undergo a knee operation.
The actor, who played half-man, half-giant Hagrid in the wizard franchise, tipped the scales at 280 pounds (127 kilograms) but he has already shed 63 pounds (29 kilograms) in the last six months after giving up his favourite junk foods.
He is hoping to drop another 56 pounds (25 kilograms) before going under the knife to fix an old sports injury, which has left him with arthritis in his right knee.
Revealing the key to his diet success, Coltrane explains, "Avoiding all the things I like. Make a list of the things you like to eat and avoid them all. It's all come off in six months, but four stone's (56 pounds) not much to lose when you're my weight."
Coltrane, who hurt his knee playing rugby at school in Scotland, will head to the U.S. for surgery to replace his cartilage with teflon once he reaches his goal weight.
He says, "It's very painful... The long-term plan is to have it done in America but not until I've lost another four stone."

Helen Mirren Gives Foul-mouthed Speech At European Film Awards

Helen Mirren Gives Foul-mouthed Speech At European Film Awards

Dame Helen Mirren turned the air blue at the European Film Awards on Saturday (01Dec12) in a foul-mouthed tribute to veteran French actress Jeanne Moreau.
The Queen star took to the stage at the event in Malta to accept a prize for her contribution to world cinema and she used the opportunity to reference Moreau in her acceptance speech, telling the audience, "Thank you for the great honour of recognising that I too am a f**king w**re - and I am very very proud of it."
Mirren's outburst mirrored a speech by Moreau, who won a similar honour at the 2007 event and proclaimed: "We are the f**king wonderful w**res of European cinema."
The British actress went on to explain her choice of words by listing Moreau among the actresses she has idolised throughout her career, adding, "Jeanne Moreau, Monica Vitti, Claudia Cardinale, Liv Ullmann, Hanna Schygulla, Melina Mercouri, Irene Papas and for me the greatest of all Anna Magnani - those to me were the actresses that I looked up to and and wanted to be like - I wanted to be an actress like them and I wanted to be a woman like them."
During the ceremony, director Bernardo Bertolucci was honoured with a lifetime achievement award, and Michael Haneke's latest movie Amour scooped the event's top prize - the Best European Film of 2012 title.

Katt Williams Slap On Target Employee Caught On Camera

Katt Williams Slap On Target Employee Caught On Camera

Katt Williams' slap on a Target employee has been caught on camera. The incident occurred on Sunday (December 2, 2012), just moments after the comedian led cops on a three-wheeled chase through the streets of Sacramento.
The clip contains no audio, but it shows Williams' in a branch of Target getting into an argument with an employee. From his body language, it's clear that the man was not looking for a fight though Williams suddenly wound up and slapped him in the face. The employee quickly pulls out his phone and calls the police. Hilariously, Katt quickly makes his getaway on an electric cart before ditching the vehicle for his three-wheeled motorcycle. He was not arrested, though a representative for the Yolo County District Attorney's office tells fastmazaa.blogspot.com that the case is currently under review, though charges are yet to be filed against the comedian.
It's been a pretty bizarre few weeks for Williams, who was arrested in Oakland in November for allegedly hitting someone in the head with a bottle. He was so incensed by the incident that he threatened to cancel his stand-up show, telling fastmazaa.blogspot.com  "Call Live Nation ... call the radio station ... the show's canceled." Turns out he was bluffing.

Latest News Sonakshi Sinha has no regrets doing Joker

Latest News Sonakshi Sinha has no regrets doing Joker

While many might say that post her back-to-back hits with Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore, actress Sonakshi Sinha's third film Joker alongside Akshay Kumar that failed to score high at the box office, was a wrong choice made by her, the actress has simply no regrets over the same.

She says, "I don't regret doing Joker. I signed Joker after the success of Dabangg so it was my second film. For a newcomer like me to get an opportunity to work with Akshay Kumar was like an icing on the cake”. She added, "While I was shooting for Joker, Akshay approached me for Rowdy Rathore and that's how things fell in place. So I am glad I did Joker”.

Sonakshi is presently riding high on the success of Son of Sardar, featuring Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt and is now eyeing the release of Dabangg 2 (December 21) with Salman Khan. On being asked how she gets down to choosing scripts, Sonakshi said, "I choose films that appeal to me. I would spend money and watch the film only if I like it. For me it should be entertaining."

Well, we hope that your success spree continues with Dabangg 2!

Actress Kareena Kapoor misses Talaash premiere for Salman Khan

Actress Kareena Kapoor misses Talaash premiere for Salman Khan

Bollywood numero uno actress Kareena Kapoor sure knows how to fulfill her promise, and when it has been made to Salman Khan, one has to be extra careful as the Dabangg actor is not among the ones to forgive or forget, even if it means missing own film’s premiere.

A source says that recently Kareena Kapoor had to give Talaash premiere a miss, because of her word to Sallu. At the premiere of Aamir Khan's latest release, Bollywood bigwigs were in full attendance to wish the very best to the film's cast and crew. However, to everyone's surprise, one of the two leading ladies of the film – Bebo – was missing from the scene.

Reports say that Kareena took the evening off to be able to spend time on the sets of Salman Khan's reality show Bigg Boss 6, where she had gone to promote her upcoming item number (Fevicol Se) from the star's Dabangg 2. So it was left to Aamir and his other co-star Rani Mukherji to welcome guests at the show. A source says, "It's like Kareena chose Salman's film over her own. She had promised Salman that she would be present for his show. She kept her promise."

We’re sure this action of Kareena, would have led to big controversy if Salman hadn’t been best friends with Aamir! God forbid, imagine Kareena ditching Shahrukh for Salman or vice-versa!

Miley Cyrus says kissing Josh Bowman was the ''best job ever''.
The 20-year-old singer-and-actress - who is engaged to Liam Hemsworth - got to lock lips with her hunky co-star in new movie 'So Undercover' and loved every bit of their scenes together.
She said: ''He's so cute. I had this scene where I had to tell him, 'Your balls are amazing,' and I got so awkward doing it.
''I also had to kiss him in our first scene together. It was fabulous. Making money to kiss Josh? Hello, best job ever. The next day I was handcuffing him to a radiator and sitting on him.''
However, the former 'Hannah Montana' star insists there is nothing romantic about kissing scenes.
She added: ''It's not really romantic. Especially when the crew yell, 'Hold it longer, tongue her' as you kiss.''
As well as Josh, Miley recently admitted she thinks One Direction hunk Zayn Malik is very ''cute''.
She said: ''Zayn Malik! He's my favourite...Because my friend and him have matching hair. I also think he's the cutest.''
